Outing and 崖の上のポニョ

Went out this evening for a movie with my club's alumnus and some current members. The movie we watched is the new Studio Ghibli film by Miyazaki Hayao that came over recently. The title of the film translated to English is "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea".

It's quite a nice film, suitable for children too. Essentially, it can be summed up as a Boy meets Fish type of film. Some parts of the film are just too exaggerated, but it's a magical setting after all, so it's still acceptable. Though some of the parts that are not elaborated and explained could had been done better.

今夜は映画を見たよ。その名は「崖の上のポニョ」。スタジオジブリの新しい作品で、宮崎駿の九代目の作品。

この映画はどう思う？実は面白い。宮崎さんの作品だから、その点は当たり前かもん。男の子と女の子（さかなのこ）の物語。子供でも見える映画から、誰に見えるでも大丈夫。ちょっと不気味のはポニョの半人半魚の姿と、その二人のラブラブ（？）みたいな関係。

でも、面白い映画から、まだ見てない人がいるなら、見えばいいかな。
