It's finally over!!

The decision is final. At 11:30am exact today, it's over.

Yes! My exams for this semester is over!! Finally time to relax and play and enjoy (without the guilt)~

This doesn't mean that it's the end of my troubles yet though, since as long as the results are not out yet, I can't really rest my mind, but, what's done is done, so let's just have fun for now =)

4 down, 1 left to go?!?

In a mere span of 3 days (from Wed - Fri), 4 exam papers have been cleared.

Let's do a short recap of what happened...

Wed:
Had 2 papers on this day. Pathology in the afternoon and Logic in the evening. Pathology turned out to be a lot easier than expected. In fact, the essay questions where almost like a giveaway~ =) Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Logic, which was quite a disaster =( Hopefully I'll be able to score enough to get at least a C to get a S when I S/U it =P

Thu:
Only Dosage Form today, but that's more than enough, seeing as I still have to study for the upcoming Pharmacology paper on Fri =| Anyways, the paper was a lot more tricky than expected, with irritating MCQs and confusing essay questions. Managed to pull through it though, so just have to sit back and wait for the results.

Fri (Today!):
Last day and paper of the 3-day madness rush. Pharmacology, which is likely to be the hardest out of all 4 papers due to the sheer amount of information presented and memory work required, was the paper for the day =x Thankfully, I was able to answer the questions which came out, and even though some (or even more) of the answers were inadequate, at least I did wrote something down. Hmm... this might turn out to be better than I expected, but let's not count our chickens before they hatch =P

With the 4 papers gone in the past 3 days, the only paper left now is the Med. Chem. paper coming up next Tue. Open book, but guaranteed to kill all the students >.< Well, guess I'll probably start revising for it tomorrow, or maybe the day after? (or later?) Haha~

Reading week, then exams...

Midway into the reading week now, with exactly 7 days left before the first paper. Not only so, there are 2 papers on the same day for the first day of my exams -__________-

The good thing about that is one of the papers is open-book, though that's not going to be very helpful either..

Haiz, just work hard!!

A month and more later...

Once again, a one month late post =.=

I guess I've been too preoccupied with schoolwork and other miscellaneous stuff to actually find the time (and effort) to update, so... ya =P

Anyways, as what I had said earlier, it appears that the a test a week routine is still going to carry on till reading week starts >.< In addition, it appears that I'll be having two tests on the week before reading week, and they will be on consecutive days too... (Wow! Does the fun ever end? X.X)

Oh well, not much can be done about that, so just have to try my best and get it over with =x

At least, there's still the occasional time to relax and play some games from time to time, so it's perhaps, not that bad after all.

Another one month delayed post!

!!! Been one month since my last post again... Guess I'm not cut out for this regular maintenance of blogs -.-|||

Anyways, the mid-semester break has started. A well deserved week long break eh? But what that awaits after this is non-stop action and surprises. At least a test every week till the reading week XD

Oh well, time to buck up!!! Gotta cut back on my miscellaneous gaming and other stuff, and focus on studying... Have to make up for the complete and utter failure that I suffered a week ago.. ARGH

Wednesday, 22 August 2007

So, so, long ago~

Almost a month since my last post... Haha. Guess I'm not cut out for this... Too lazy to post, even though I sometimes have a lot on my mind -.-|||

But anyways, this marks the halfway point of the 2nd week of the semester. The good thing is, after this week, it is likely that I'll be able to have a free day on Wednesday, but the bad news is, starting from slightly into September, the true nature of this semester will begin. Yes, the 'hell' semester, as what we pharmers know it as, and where we'll be having tests every week. Sounds like a lot of fun!!! (Ya right. Time to say goodbye~ T.T )

Lately, I've been kind of neglecting my other work, as I'm quite drawn into Maplestory... Bad sign, especially in this hectic semester... TIME TO BUCK UP!

がんばろう!私!!

Paprika, and ending of work

Watched Paprika yesterday. It was quite an interesting show, with some semi-deep ideas on the mind and humans trying to be as gods, but I feel that it's still too shallow and immature, not really touching the guise of the concept or exploring it far enough. And the ending portion is kinda lame IMO, and the little bit of romance that they tried into inject into it was kinda off, and it just seems so unbelievable, like something they just decided to throw in for fun. But those aside, it's still a nice show, and you should go and catch it if you're into anime and will like to see something with a bit of mystery and philosophy thrown into it. (BTW, I still think the DC Mini concept is very similar to the Encephalon diving concept in Xenosaga~~)

Oh, and we went to get the tickets late, so we ended up sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of the screen, and we also went in late as we rushed to get our dinner, and so in the midst of confusion to getting to my seat, I accidentally catch my bag against one of the protruding parts of a seat (why the HECK is there such a thing there?!?!?!?!?) and tore my strap. Had to sew it back eventually, but it also shows that the quality of that bag is rather crappy for that to happen. Teaches you to trust (or rather, NOT trust) cheap stuff from other places yes?

Back to myself - I'm officially resigning from my temp job and tomorrow will be my last day. The job itself isn't too bad, and I don't really mind working on till the end of the month, but other matters require my attention, and the top of the pyramid isn't too great and all, plus the pay issues - WHATEVER. Time for me to focus back on school stuff and perhaps complete some series and games if I have the time as I go along - hopefully I do, else I'll never be able to catch up on my incredible backlog.... (^n^|||)

Guess that's all for today~

Back from the chalet

Actually, this should had been posted last night, but I was far too tired after reaching home to function, so this post has been delayed to today~

Anyways, our chalet started on the 15th (Sun), where we met up at 1330 at the MRT station before heading down towards the chalet itself together. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to get the keys after 3 pm, so we had to spend (waste) some time hanging around the arcade room in the premises. Even after waiting till past 3 pm, we still weren't able to get our keys and some of us decided to just climb into the unit itself (TRESPASSING!) where we got caught by one of the staff at the chalet, who eventually helped us get our hands on the keys to our unit (turns out that our ascent was rather helpful! =D ).

After which, we proceeded down to CosFest '07, where we see different cosplayers and get both shocked and awed (especially the final competition part, though there were more shocks and disbelief), and we also managed to catch some time to take with a potential collaborator for our club activities and also get a group photo with our people who went down and some of our alumni members who turned up.

I went home shortly (okay, not that short since I went for 2hr+) to watch some TV, but at least I managed to contribute when I went back by bring along a multi-plug since there aren't enough sockets down at the chalet room for a bunch (I mean a lot) of people to crowd together in a room with all their laptops.

The first night went by quickly with games on the Wii, card games, and some board games and before we knew it, it's almost the morning and some of us decided to catch some sleep. Shortly after, it's time to rise and shine again and we went out for an hour worth of cycling.

Lunch was prepared upon returning to the chalet. We had our own version of Japanese curry rice, with some potatoes, carrots, meat and rice (Duh). Lunch was actually quite tasty and nice, but unfortunately, we underestimated the rice consumption of our people and ended up with not enough rice for everyone, and some had to go along with bread and chips to go with the curry. (Partly due to some who decided to go for seconds even before everyone had their meal.)

Time till dinner was spent on some degree of anime marathoning, some card games (actually, A LOT of card games). Dinner was steamboat, but something went wrong with the appliance we brought down for the steamboat (it kept overheating and shutting itself down) and we had to turn to the stove for our steamboat. Unfortunately, it appears that the gas output wasn't enough to manage two stoves (or rather that particular stove is faulty or something) and we had certain troubles when we were cooking up our dinner. Quite a fun (and trouble) filled night it was. For all the effort, at least the dinner was good and everyone had their fill this time round. Thanks to all those who chipped in to help out!

The night ended for most by returning home for some well-deserved sleep after the hectic events while a few others decided to stay on to the last morning. Though there were significantly less people left in the chalet by then, they should still be able to have fun and enjoy in their own way~

That's all for this time round I guess, and sorry for that whole block of text! XD

Been a long time

Been a long time since my last post!

Anyways, just some recent updates:

1) My preceptor is going to be transferred out!! Seems like it's going to be a promotion or something, but she still isn't too sure of the work details yet. Exciting! Guess I'll be going down this Sat again before she transfers.

2) Got a chance at COE (Customer Order Entry) yesterday. Too many samples coming in so I got a chance to help out. A rather fun and interesting experience, and I also got a first-hand feel of how the staff there work.

3) Anime chalet is coming up this weekend!! Anime and get-together and games = LOTSA FUN!!! Looking forward to it!!

4) As I missed out on the HP left on my suppotail, she got reduced to 0 hp after an action and is now in a deep slumber for 48 hrs. Sadness... >.<

That's all for now~ I'll post again soon!

Sick and a Visit

I've been sick over the past week since last Sun. For some reason, I keep waking up with a blocked nose and a severe runny nose afterwhich, and don't recover until near the end of the day. Not to mention, I also have a terrible sore throat with a lot of phlegm to go with that too.

Fortunately, it appears that all of these problems have resolved themselves by now. The nasal problems are nearly gone and my throat is feeling a lot better too. The colour of the phlegm has also changed from green to white, showing that the infection that I most likely had previously is clearing up.

That aside, today I went back to my previous store where I had my preceptorship to talk to my preceptor and her new student. Felt kinda bad about doing this, since it appears that by going back and talking with them, I used up 3 hours of the new student's time which she could have used for more learning. She didn't seemed to mind though, so I guess I shouldn't be too concerned about that.

A side note... Having to work on weekends (Sat) really does suck~ Didn't know that beforehand, and it totally screwed up my entire schedule for today.. *sighs*

End of events, and First day of work

Things happened over the weekend, sad things, happy things, meaningful things.... At least we've all learnt a lesson from them, and have grown wiser. Things do work out in the end, so always look on the bright side!! =D

Today was the first day of work, official work. The original criteria was to do receiving for lab samples, but it appears that there's too much invoice work to settle first before we can go into other things. Let's all work hard so as not to let anyone down (especially oneself!!!)~

New environment, new experience~ Ganbatte!!

Costume Making

After a long break, I finally went back to my CCA stuff, which is, to help out in costume making for our maid/host cafe concept in the next AY. Feel kinda out of touch with stuff, since it's been 6 weeks, but I'm still fine with it (mostly).

I also brought my white coat down to remove the silly words on the pocket, but I screwed up the unpicking, so I guess it's time to call for help? Haha... Guess I'll get my aunt to look into it and see if she can do anything about it.

I also finished up the rest of my preceptorship report today, so I'm finally prepared to hand it up. Going back to school on Mon, so might as well do it too.

All that's left for this week is to look into some papers and do some info searching on the net for my lab work, and to look forward to the lunch appointment tomorrow!!

End of the preceptorship

It appears that the laziness bug (along with a bit of the amnesia bug) has struck again. This was supposed to be posted last night, but due to some "unforeseen" circumstances, it has been delayed till this morning. (^.^|||)

Anyways, yesterday was the official end of our preceptorship. We had our debrief over at the Suntec store at around 2 pm, so we left our own store at around 1 pm (after tearful farewells and stuff... well, not quite, but you get the drift). After which, we sat through a long debrief which touched upon the operations protocol, the ground layout and also future changes to the stores. It was kinda informative, but also kinda boring at the same time.

After a short walk around the new store layout (which is going to be the template for the stores of the future, or so they say), we departed for our next destination, karaoke over at Party World in Tanjong Pagar.

The beginning was a bit slow and stuff, as everyone was shy and reserved and much coaxing had to be done before anyone started singing. But slowly as time went by, people got a bit more relaxed and started singing and having fun.

The event was originally stated to end at 7 pm, but we already have people leaving at the halfway mark, and by 7 pm, just almost all participants had left, leaving us down to 6 people in the room (which was a rather big room since we started with a big party of 20+ people). After a couple more songs, another friend left and we were left with 5 people in a big room... which started to feel really empty. Haha~ (^.^|||)

In the end, the 5 of us left sang until the very last minute (which actually lasted until 9 pm as it turned out that we had booked the room for 5 hours. !!! ) before we settled the bill and left the place. After which, 4 of us decided to go for dinner over at Lau Pa Sat while the other had to go home.

The night ended with a nice dinner (along with an interesting talking session with jargon and crap) and we finally left to go home at around 10:15 pm.

All in all, this was an interesting night and a fitting end for the 6 weeks stint we had over at our preceptorship. Well, it's time to prepare for work again (this time, to make some money to tide over my current crisis), but for this couple of days, perhaps we can take a short break and catch our breaths, and rest our feets too!

Oh and, this is not quite the end too, since in a sense, we're now friends with our preceptors, and there might be more interaction in future, so it's not really farewell for good. At the very least, I'll be going back to my store this Sun to join them for lunch (Wee!!). Looking forward to it!!

Nearing the end

Once again, it's about one week since I last posted... Guess I'm kinda lazy about this sort of stuff, but at least, I do keep it updated! (^.^);

Anyways, back to the topic. Today is the second last day of our preceptorship (in theory), and we went together with our preceptor to a smoking cessation talk. The attendance at the talk itself is kind of pathetic... Only like, 4 people turned up?

But, the subsequent CO breath testing session with some counseling about smoking cessation options and places had a much better attendance, though it is most probably due to the novelty of the idea and the fun of getting people together to play with the machine that got the people here. Hopefully, they'll take a message back home about this session, and perhaps, try out quitting smoking (for the smokers) and never ever pick up smoking (for the non-smokers).

On a side note, I finally got my first paycheck today!! Wasn't too much (only $170) but at least it's worth something. Kinda makes me excited and stuff, which probably explains a bit about the slight tinge of insanity I exhibited today (but probably has no connection to that weird headache I get near the end of the day, I hope?).

Tomorrow's the last day (in theory), but I most probably have to go back on another day (likely Sun) to complete about 30 mins of work to complete the total work hours required. Oh well, don't really have to worry about that though, everything will turn out fine in the end.

Looking forward to the "party" tomorrow and the debrief and stuff. Guess I will be missing all the people down at the store and all the things that we've went through over this past 6 weeks. Well, I'll leave the rest for tomorrow then!

Friday, 15 June 2007

Food and more! *swt*

As I've said yesterday, we went together with our preceptor to Ikea for Swedish meatballs and more today! Together, we finished one set of 15 meatballs, a serving of fried rice and roast chicken and fried chicken and chips~

Not only so, I also had dinner over at Pizza Hut tonight!! Kind of seems like quite a feast tonight eh??? A pity though that things doesn't seem to be going too well with my preceptor today, hopefully, she'll feel better tomorrow~

Finished up the planogram for the vitamins and supplements and also the checking of expiry dates for some products today too. Not too much done, but not too little too.

Busy day!

It's been a week since my last post!

But anyways, back to the topic. Today was a really busy day. Lots of stock arrived from the warehouse to our store, and we spent almost the entire day (morning + afternoon + into the evening) checking and accounting for the stock, and displaying them. Totally unbelievable...

One of our team members will be leaving for a period of 3 weeks starting from tomorrow, and so, instead of waiting till the last week, I brought my camera down today to take photos together with the team members (that are willing). Photos can be a source of remembrance (?), so it's always nice to take photos with others to commemorate events, such as our preceptorship.

On another note, our preceptor said that she'll be treating us to Swedish meatballs over at Ikea tomorrow! Yeah! Something to look forward to after the hectic rush today!

Well, that's all for this time, see ya again~~ ^^/

Stocktake & First CME event

Main event today = Stocktake! Today was the day when we had to do our stocktake. Accordingly, small stores have to do stocktaking about 3 times a year, and today happened to be one of those days.

The earlier part of the day was spent clearing the stock that came in and exhibiting any stocks that we had in storage where that was sufficient space on the shelves. Afternoon was passed by counting the remaining stocks in the cupboards and on the dispensary shelves. Using the HHT for stocktaking for the first time was rather interesting. Even though it is essentially the same as the normal HHT, but it's specially programmed for keying in stock quantities, so there are some subtle differences in the usage.

Due to the stocktaking process, we didn't had anytime for lunch until around 5 pm. But we don't really mind, since we had an early lunch at around 12 noon yesterday after attending the Pharmacy Practice Meeting, so in a sense, it's like doing more work to compensate for the time yesterday. Since we have plans for dinner, we only had some hotdogs to fill our tummies for the time being.

Speaking of which, tonight was the first time I attended a CME event. It was held at the Ritz-Calton over at Suntec City, which was supposedly a really grand hotel, though I didn't really know about it until now (~.~|||)

It was quite an experience, to listen to the talks about new research developments, and to actually see and feel in person the proceedings of a CME event. But, dinner wasn't as good as expected, in fact, it was rather plain to me. Perhaps it's just due to me not being accustomed to such cuisine~ And the main course was fish, which I don't take, so I didn't really enjoy dinner, though dessert (Tiramisu) was rather good (but the alcohol was a bit too much O-O ). Haha, guess I really do have a lot to complain, especially since it's a free dinner =P

My preceptor had to go back to our store to help out with the stocktaking after dinner, but me and my classmate went home instead. This made me feel a bit bad about it... Part of me wants to go back and help, but another part just doesn't feel like staying till so late, especially since the actual full stocktaking is going to happen at around 12 midnight and end at around 2 am. Oh well, what's done cannot be undone, hopefully my preceptor won't take it to heart (and I think she won't, since she's a really nice person~). I'll just have to work harder to make up for it~ (^o^)Y

昨日と今日

Yesterday was my uncle's birthday, so me and my brother went down to help move plants and pots and also to buy drinks for the celebration party. The evening went by uneventfully, but I had to stay up at night to watch a show's replay since I missed it due to the birthday party (~.~)

Today!! Went out for the Singapore Street Festival over at Youth Park at Somerset. Saw lots of different cosplayers, and also heard various bands playing (though some of the bands were real loud and bad). Initially, I wanted to take photos of the cosplayers (I even brought my camera down!), but I got lazy and decided not to. (HAHA *swt*)

An interesting thing (and funny and stupid thing about myself), was that I thought that the Street Festival outing was supposed to be on yesterday, so I told my friends that I had to attend my uncle's birthday and won't be able to stay on late nor catch a movie with them later. But turns out that I made a mistake (OTZ), and I had already watched the movie earlier due to that mistake, so I kinda let my friends down because of this silly hiccup. Sorry everyone!! m(_ _)m

End of 3rd week, halfway through

Today marks the end of the 3rd week of my preceptorship, and this signifies that I am halfway through it. Dunno why, but I'm already feeling that I'll miss the place and people when I end my preceptorship. ~.~

An extra note to add is that we have new team members in our store today! Both are likely to be part-timers, though they'll still probably stay longer than me and my classmate. Haha~

Well, hopefully, the rest of the preceptorship period will be as fun and exciting as what I've been through over this 3 weeks. Let's all learn more stuff and have fun together!! =D

Results are out!

Actually, results came out yesterday, but I was too lazy (?) to post so... HAHA..

Honestly, the results are far better than what I had expected based on what I felt during the exams and my normal results. Then again, it still fell short of what I really hoped to get. Oh well, at least I still managed to pull my CAP back up, and also achieved results that are comparable (actually, they're equivalent score-wise) with the results that I obtained in semester 2. Not only so, it's also the first time I got an A grade on my core modules, and for a pharmacy module too!! Wee!!! *(^o^)*

Over the past week

Haha, I've been lazy (and tired), so there has been no updates over the past week (. .||)
Anyways, let's take a little walkthrough of what happened over the week:

Mon - Went out late and missed the shuttle bus and decided to take service 27. Ended up taking the wrong direction and went to the airport o-o|| A 10+ min trip ended up taking 40+ min.

Tue - Nothing much really, other than we've also started on discussing and presenting what we've found out about various herbal remedies and supplements. Turns out that the information is very diverse, and more research is necessary to draw conclusions on this, but for now, just know what they're most commonly used for traditional so that you know what to tell the customers.

Wed - More presentations, and store work (including putting up stock and also doing renumbering of price tickets in the store). A new realisation is that I might actually be interested in doing research into herbs and supplements. Hoho~ A new direction perhaps? And a possible goal for me to work towards too!

Thu - My other classmate went on off today, so it's just me and my preceptor. Quite an interesting day, since I got the chance to check out the pharmacy items available at our store, and helped out in some dispensing matters. Perhaps the best part is that I can speak Mandarin the whole day.. Wee~ *^o^*

As for today, it's the final chapter of our herbal remedies and supplements presentation, and we were quizzed on some of the information that we have presented and shared. Weird as it sounds, I found out that I'm better in remembering the information shared by my classmate than myself (~.~||)

An additional bonus is that, I actually get to help out in dispensing again today! Ah... Feels like another great step in a right direction. Perhaps working in a community pharmacy isn't as bad as I figured it to be, but then again, it still doesn't change the fact that I don't like direct patient contact, and my preceptor did say that I was a bit too nervous during dispensing... Something to work on~

Last but not least, results are due to be out tomorrow. Hopefully, everything will turn out fine. Otherwise... HAIZ Don't really know what to say....

Well, nothing much that can be done, so let's just relax and enjoy the rest of the day (and tomorrow, till results~)!! v^o^v

Friday, 18 May 2007

8 hours later, Kinokuniya!

I was late to work today... Underestimated the time taken to complete something, resulting in me leaving home far later than expected (about 10 mins later..) and so, I missed to shuttle bus, and ended up about 5-7 mins late. Haiz...

Anyways, after work, it was the long awaited Kinokuniya 20% discount promotion!!! I didn't mention it yesterday, but we went down to Kino too! But as the discount is on today, we didn't get anything yesterday, and decided to come back down today to get what we wanted. Ended up spending $50+ on books (. .||), and I also forgotten to use the voucher I obtained from my friend (double whammy...)

Oh well, hopefully, I'll have the chance to spend it on something else before it expires >.<

Cash Studio Karaoke & later~

Wee!! Got a break from my preceptorship today~

Went out with my CCA friends to Cash Studio to sing japanese songs!! And we sang longer than the hours allocated again (though this is only the 2nd time that I had gone there). Really enjoyed myself there and hopefully, we'll have the time to go down there again, but this time, we should do our 'homework' beforehand so we know what songs we want to sing, and how to find them fast enough!

After which, we went for dinner and also spent some time (~1h+?) at the National Library (Main) playing card games. The next item on the itinerary was down to the arcade at Parco, where we wasted (haha~) time on photo hunt and some drum and guitar play.

Anyways, today was a real fun day!! Really enjoyed myself~

Stock - IN

Today, new stock came into our store and we spent pretty much half the day placing the items onto the shelves. Nothing much to say about that~

Evening time was spent on some checking up and studying on OTC drugs, and also on sticking the labels for P items. I kind of feel more connected with the people of my store today, with all the going-ons and whatnots, hopefully, this can keep up and the rest of the preceptorship will be fun and interesting!

Second day, First day

Today's the second day of my preceptorship, but the first day where I official start work. In the morning, we started with checking out and remembering some of the drugs (cough/flu/fever/dermal/antisepsis) available at our store, and our preceptor tested us on that. Turns out that my preceptor is a really nice and friendly person as expected, which is great!!

On a side note, I completed my covert ops today too. Spent some money in the process, since I just wasn't able to reject it (can't bare to do that..), but oh well, as long as I get the assignment done, that's an acceptable hiccup.

Mother's Day and First Day

Yesterday was Mother's day! As usual, we went out to eat to celebrate the event, but instead of choosing dinner as most others do, we chose to have lunch instead. Less packed, and possibly cheaper (maybe?). Well, the food wasn't too good, nor was it too bad, but as long as everyone's happy, it's all alright.

And, on to today!! Today was the first day of my preceptorship. Kind of uneventful though, since it's mostly some lecture on proper conduct and human language skills in the morning, and a training session on how to do merchandising in the afternoon. The afternoon session was far more interesting, since what was taught was something relatively new to me, and it made me understand why things are placed and done the way they are in shop fronts.

I also got a chance to meet and speak to my preceptor today! She looks nice and appears to be very friendly too. Hopefully the remaining 6 weeks will be interesting and fun!

Industrial Visit

Today, we went for an industrial visit to GSK (GlaxoSmithKline)'s primary plant over at Jurong. The place was really remote!! It was a pain to get there and back~

Overall, it was a rather interesting visit, to listen to working pharmacists' experience and to look at the manufacturing process of pharmaceutical ingredients. Though the details are far too technical (engineering wise) and all the pipes and reactors were kind of boring.. (-.-||)

Oh, and I felt kind of guilty, since I have to miss the morning session of the practical training, and my partner has to do everything by herself in the morning.. Sorry! m(_ _)m

My Reyvateil just crafted her first song today! Yeah!!!

Just check out her little flash room and you'll be able to see all her new costumes and the new hymmnos~~

A New Beginning

Today's the start of a new week, where I'm back again to school for the training for the innovative project. Kinda interesting I guess, since we'll have the chance to actually participate and observe, and potentially improve, an actual manufacturing and purifying process.

In addition, our club had our post exams meeting today, with many issues for the upcoming 3 months being discussed. Time to write the minutes again...

Wednesday, 2 May 2007

It's OVER!!!!

And with that, the last paper is finished... AND I'M FREE!!!!
Finally with my exams over, it's time for the holidays to start~~~

More time for me to concentrate on leisure (and of course, extracurricular work.. HAHA)

Well, that's all for today!

Friday, 27 April 2007

And then, 2 left?

Took my Microbiology paper today... quite a disaster I must say, never knew that my time planning was so BAD~ Spent far too much time on certain parts of the question when the marks aren't worth that much... *SIGH*

Hopefully, my answers for the other questions are good enough (even though I didn't have enough time to think and write X.X ), so that I won't fare too badly this semester.. And to think that I'm counting on this semester to pull myself back up~

ARGH!!! Still have the double paper on Wed! TERRIBLE T.T

2 down, 3 to go!

And today, I completed my 2nd exam paper. Which means that I still have 3 more left to go, and 2 of them are on the same day on consecutive timeslots... (..|||)

But back to today... The Pharmacology paper was easier than I had anticipated it to be, which is good, since I didn't really put too much effort into preparing it in the last moment. Well, things happen, and I was too engrossed in a game to spend time on it (..|||) Hopefully, all will go well when the results come out~

First Day of Exams

Ah... Had my first paper for this semester today. It wasn't too hard to the standard where it wasn't manageable, but it still caught me by surprise >.< Hopefully, I'll still be able to do well if everyone else is also affected =D

And, my Reyvatail has finally went out on her first trip! It's the beginning of the fun stuff now~
Plus, my orders from Japan finally arrived!!! Time to let off some steam and try out Fate/stay Night and Persona 3 Fes. Will get back to revision tmr.

Busy day...

Oops. Forgot to post something yesterday... was too busy with revision work and other stuff that I totally forgot (. .||)
Anyways, today was a real busy day. Spent quite a bit of time reworking the status page of my Reyvatail. (when I should be doing last minute revisions since the exams start TOMORROW!! ~.~)
Here's a link to see the status page: Snow Moon's profile!
In case you don't know, we are "Red Star" and "Snow Moon"! Yeah~

Pharmacology Ack!

So I've been studying for my exams right? Well yesterday was spent on reading up on Pharmacology, and that was just plain terrible. Don't even know how to put it in words, but I don't really like Pharmacology... or was it because of the way we're being taught and examined? Oh well...

On the other hand, today was much more pleasant, having started work on Microbiology... It's not an easy subject, but then again, the pace and structure of lessons and the way they're delivered just made it more pleasing and enjoyable to study. Yeah! \(^o^
