Noodles and Botak Jones

First time I cooked something at home today other than rice. Not to mention that it's not on one of those traditional stoves and instead is on an induction stove. I ended up adding in too much water, having overestimated the loss due to evaporation on boiling, and scalded myself with some of the hot water when I was transferring the noodles into a bowl. What a fool =.=

Dinner was settled outside. We went over to this place called Botak Jones, a classy name for an establishment that is located in a normal hawker centre. The price was rather amazing, as in expensive. As for the food, it was actually quite good, if not a bit too salty. The serving was also rather big, and I'm still filled to the brim even now. So I guess it's an acceptable meal, once in a while that is.

今日は初めてうちでご飯以外のものを作った。面を作った。でも、経験がないから、水を入れすぎるので、ちょっとだけお湯にやけどしちゃった。本当にドジね、私。

夕食はいつも通りに外で。今晩はその”Botak Jones”というところで食べた。値段はちょっと高いけど、結構うまいから、たまにはいいと思う。それに、食事の盛りも結構多いね。今でもまだお腹いっぱいいっぱいだよ。
