We had a session on literature review today, but it was a bit boring. I admit that reading through current literature and discussing about them is quite fun and interesting, but with the number of articles we have to go through in a day, there really isn't much time to discuss them in depth. Not to mention that we are more or less just sitting back and listening, or daydreaming for the most part. At least I did answer and ask some questions, so it wasn't that bad?
We had a photo taking session after the last lesson for the day. The venue was over at University Hall, and we took the group photo together with some of the staff from our department, including our department head. It was kind of a last minute thing, so I can understand if some of us are busy and have to rush off to somewhere else or just happened to skip school today, but for those who clearly just want to stay out of the picture and avoided the session, they really should reflect on their actions. It's like leaving behind a memory, and it's really a waste to just run off like that.
On the way home, one of my classmates mentioned about the photo books of the Americans and Japanese, and commented that it is a lot easier to find the person you're looking for in their portrait form of photos. I agree with that, as it's a lot easier to find that person you're looking for by looking through portraits instead of trying to pick out one tiny face in a group photo. They could always do both the portraits and the group photo if they really want that sense of togetherness.
今日帰り道中雨が突然降ってきたよ!本当に驚いた!しかも結構重かった、雨は。
幸いにもうあんまり外に歩かなくてもうちへ帰るから、体は平気。濡れたら病気になるから気をつかないとね。
