Expected, but unexpected

Expected, but unexpected. Sounds like an oxymoron, no? But that's exactly what I felt today when I took the CA. The topic tested as an extended question (i.e. not MCQ) was exactly as expected, and we all focused our study efforts on it, but the way the question was asked took most, if not all, of us by surprise. Turned out to be a lot harder to answer... even though we spent the most effort on studying for it. Guess that's how the lecturers can play with you. Setting questions that are expected, yet unexpected.

That aside, the afternoon practical session today was quite a breeze. We actually managed to finish all our work in slightly more than an hour and were happily home early. We actually jumped queue to finish early though. Our original timeslot for the final step was booked at 3:30pm, but as we were the first group to finish up all the previous steps, we were the first to proceed with the final process at around 2:45pm. Haha^^

今日のテストは思うとおりだけど、思う以上のことだ。どうしてそういうの？テストの問題は思う通りけど、その聞き方は思わなかった。だから、一杯勉強してもあんまりうまく答えなかった。ひどいでしょ？

まぁ、今日は早くうちへ帰るから、別にいいけど。テストはもう終わりし、どう考えても仕方がないな。
